I love life savers the candy, and as I was painting this piece (I stared at my candy too long) the colors came to me while also watching Willy Wonka and it just reminded me how Wonka loved candy & his dad hated that about him so I depicted the boy in my painting a little sad with clear evidence that the sugar got to him but it more so just means lonely nostalgia
